Hailing from Kerala, Dr Nirupama joined the Indian Institute of Public Health- Hyderabad as Lecturer after completing her MD in Community medicine from Tamil Nadu, India. Areas of interest include: Non-communicable diseases with special focus on Adolescent health. Other disciplinary areas include Telemedicine, Occupational health, Nutrition and Bioethics. She is currently the co- course coordinator for MPH programme at IIPHH and is involved in various research projects related to non-communicable diseases and health systems strengthening.
