The Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPHs) are academic institutions of higher learning established by the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). These institutes situated in different parts of the country exclusively focus on the multi-disciplinary aspect of public -health. IIPH s conducts interdisciplinary and health system connected education and training, policy and programme relevant research in prioritised areas of public health.
The IIPHs have a presence in Gandhinagar (Gujarat), Hyderabad (Telangana), Delhi NCR, Bhubaneswar (Odisha) and Shillong (North –East). Each IIPH has affiliations with the respective State Governments and are governed and managed by independent governing councils.
