Public Health and Law
Till now, health in National law schools was only looked at from a malpractice lens. The wider gamut of public health and how different departments and disciplines are important to public health were not looked at.
We motivated the National Law school Odisha to take up the challenge and the First Moot Court in Public Health Law was conducted. A resounding success where 62 teams from National Law Universities, Central and State Government Universities Law Departments, Private Law Universities and Law Colleges spread across the length and breadth of the country competed with each other for four days. An earlier planned one day event was made into a 4 day event.
The winners were Law students Ruhaan Shah, Aman Saraf, Abhishek Raj from Government Law College Mumbai and will be awarded a prize of Rs. 21,000.
