Daisy graduated from the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research(JIPMER) in Nursing in 2015 and completed her postgraduation at the Indian Institute of Public health Hyderabad in the year 2017. She has work experience in various public health projects namely “Evaluation of Educational Films for improving Screening and Self-management” (GUIDES), “Incentivizing fruit and vegetable consumption in urban India-Drivers of food choice”, “Evaluation of Dakshata Program in two states of India”, etc. at PHFI as a research assistant.
She is currently working on the project “Assessing the Transgenerational Association of Maternal
Glucose and childhood Obesity, and the Role of
Behavioural, and Environmental influencing factors” (TAGORE) at Indian Institute of Public Health Bangalore. She has also worked at the Centre for Sustainable Agriculture in Hyderabad on a project “Strengthening Food Resource and Information for Sustainable Production and Consumption of Food Channels”. Her research interests lie in food systems. She has published scientific papers in high-impact public health journals.
