The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is working towards building a healthier India. It is helping to address the limited institutional and systems capacity in India by strengthening education and training, advancing research and technology and facilitating policy and practice in the area of Public Health.  PHFI is headquartered in New Delhi with national presence through its constituent units of regional Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) and Centers of Applied Research in core public health themes. The Foundation, established in 2006 as a public private initiative, is governed by an independent board comprising of senior government officials, eminent Indian and International academic and leaders, civil society representatives and corporate leaders. Project Brief:

The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is a public-private initiative that has collaboratively evolved through consultations with multiple constituencies including Indian and international academia, state, and central governments, multi & bi-lateral agencies and civil society groups. PHFI is a response to redress the limited institutional capacity in India for strengthening training, research, and policy development in Public Health. PHFI as SR is implementing the capacity building (Northern Region) and activities management for the HIV component of the GFATM for the period April 2024-March 2027.

Deliverables:
  • The Associate Coordinator has to assist all the coordinators in the preparation of the National Training Planner along with the State-wise Training load.
  • The Position will assist in monitoring the quality of training organized state-wise and cadre-wise.
  • Tracking and analyzing the Pre/ Posttest along with feedback from Participants and trainers and disseminating with NACO as well as the regional team for their feedback.
  • The Position Always focuses on quality-based Training.
  • The Position extended support in quarterly / Half-yearly review meetings.
  • Close coordination with all the relevant Stakeholders.
  • Administration and Training Management.
  • Data Collection, Documentation and Reporting.
  • Training Reports, Meeting Reports, Activity Reports.
  • The position will require travel as per the need.
  • Any other work assigned by the Team Lead/Project Lead
Qualification:

Essential:

  • Master’s degree in Social Sciences/ MSW/ MPH/ MCA/ Statistics/ MBA
Experience:

Essential:

  • Around 03 years of experience with donor funded projects.
  • Proven track record of professional, timely and high-quality consultancy assignments in the field of health sector.
  • Experience in managing teams is preferred
  • Experience in public health programs, esp. HIV/AIDS.
