Public Health Foundation of India

I am a Development practitioner with a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Development from Azim Premji
University, Bangalore with public health specialization. My experience spans areas like Water,
Sanitation and Hygiene, Tobacco Control, Primary Health, Adolescent Health and Wellbeing, and Neo-
natal Care. I have experience in monitoring & evaluation of CSR funded NGO programmes especially
in the health and healthcare domain. I am a trained dentist with over 15 years’ experience in clinical
practice at government and charitable hospitals, and private practice. My work at Sassoon General
Hospital, Pune gave me an in-depth understanding of the intricacies of a large public health institution.
I worked on oral health issues of largely semi-urban and rural population. I have completed a one year,
experiential, certificate programme in Counselling with an emphasis on children and adolescents at
Prerana Academy, Bangalore. I have demonstrated a strong learning ability over the years. I am a good
team player and have excellent communication and organizational skills.
