Anjali Sharma is a Post Graduate in Health and Hospital Management with specialization in Health Management from the International Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), New Delhi. She holds a Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. Presently, she is working as Senior Program Officer for Academic Programs, Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). In her present responsibility, she is the point person for the management and coordination of E-learning programs across PHFI and Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs). She is also involved in undertaking research on Public Health Education, Education of Health Professionals and Human Resources for Health. Prior to this, she worked as an Assistant Program Coordinator in Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD, India) funded diabetes training project-Certificate Course in Evidence Based Diabetes Management (CCEBDM) for close to two years. She was responsible for management and coordination of all components of the Evidence Based Diabetes Management training program. In the past, she has worked with Pathfinder International as a Monitoring & Evaluation officer for RAKSHA project that addressed the postpartum hemorrhage in the states of Rajasthan, Bihar and Tamil Nadu. She is currently undertaking work on “Design and ADoption of Alternate models for Responding to address SHortage of medical specialists in select states (ADARSH)” – a BMGF – India funded project and “Strengthening Routine Health Information Systems (RHIS) in South East Asia – a WHO SEARO funded project.
