Dr Megha Thakur Senior Research Associate at the JSW Centre for Climate Change and Health. She holds a PhD in Public Health from Maastricht University, where her doctoral research, supported by the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO), examined the impact of low-smoke cooking interventions on respiratory health in urban slums in India. She is also an alumna of the Young Experts Programme (YEP) – Energy, led by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. At the Centre, Dr Thakur contributes to evidence generation, capacity building, and programme development across climate and health.
