Anjali Sharma is a public health professional with over 16 years of experience. She is currently working as Senior Program Manager at PHFI, where she leads the design and scale-up of online and blended learning (OBL) initiatives across PHFI and Indian Institutes of Public Health. Her work spans program implementation, capacity strengthening, and educational research, with a focus on online and blended learning (OBL) in health professions education.
Currently, Anjali is engaged in the NNF-funded Partnership for Education of Health Professionals (PEP) programme. She is primarily contributing to public health education research, and OBL capacity building. She has designed and facilitated faculty development workshops with the Centre for Online and Blended Learning, University of Copenhagen, focusing on learner-centered teaching and digital pedagogy.
Previously, she has worked on projects addressing the shortage of human resources for health (HRH) in India, strengthening Routine Health Information Systems (RHIS) in South-East Asia, and supporting two rounds of the WHO-SEARO ‘SCORE for Health Data’ assessment for South-East Asia in 2018 and 2025.
Anjali works across national and international partnerships. She is passionate about designing meaningful learning experiences, supporting faculty in adopting innovative pedagogy, and advancing equitable access to quality education.
