As Registrar, establishment of a new institute and setting up of academic systems and processes from the scratch. Later as Director at the Head Office, responsible for strategic management functions and overall administration of the eight centres located in major cities across country. Some of the areas of achievement include institutional development, policy and planning, academic systems and resource management, academic administration and strengthening and exploring new linkages with academic institutions, industry and other agencies. The major achievement during the tenure is to get the institute a university status through an act of Parliament.
