I am a Research & Monitoring Specialist and a Demographer with over five years of experience at the intersection of health systems, gender equity, urban development, and population studies. I hold an M.Phil./Ph.D. in Population Studies & Statistics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, an M.Sc. from the International Institute for Population Sciences, and a B.Sc. in Statistics from the University of Delhi. My expertise lies in mixed-methods research, handling large-scale survey data using tools like STATA and SPSS, and transforming evidence into policy-relevant insights. Currently, as Program Manager – M&E at the Public Health Foundation of India, I lead evaluation protocols for large-scale training & mentoring programs, proposal development, and data-driven initiatives. Previously, I managed the Population & Development portfolio at UNFPA, coordinating research and advocacy with government departments; served as a Research Associate at the National Institute of Urban Affairs, leading sampling designs and policy briefs. With publications in SAGE Open, PLOS ONE, and BMJ Open, I am deeply passionate about linking social inequalities to demographic transitions, advocating for inclusive public systems, and collaborating to drive sustainable health and development outcomes in India.
