As a public health professional, I have over approx seven years of experience working in the government and non-government sectors in various roles. My work experience is diverse, ranging from managing public health programs to conducting outbreak investigations and providing hands-on support for maternal and new-born health and nutrition interventions. In current role , working as a Project officer at PHFI and looking DNB Program all over Uttar-Pradesh. Providing support to create DNB Degree and DNB Diploma seats across the state. This program primarly focus to reduce shortage of specialist doctors through this initiative. In my last role as a Divisional Program Officer with Pehel, I managed a program in four districts and liaised with district officials in the health and WCD departments for referral services. My responsibilities included capacity building of ASHA, ANM, AWW and program-related stakeholders, consulting and treating diarrhea cases in the community, ensuring data accuracy and data quality of the Fix Day Fix Clinic, creating and maintaining Electronic Health Records of cases identified in the community, guiding and monitoring all district coordinators and block community mobilizers of all three districts, and working on IEC & BCC for the program. Prior to that, I worked as a District Epidemiologist with IDSP, NHM Maharashtra, where I monitored timely collection and compilation of data from all reporting units and blocks, analyzed surveillance data, identified outbreaks and verified media alerts/EWSs of diseases targeted in IDSP in the district using threshold values, initiated outbreak investigations promptly following the standard operating guidelines of IDSP, ensured timely submission of FIR and detailed Outbreak Report to SSU and CSU, and supervised District Data Managers and Data Entry Operators appointed under IDSP to ensure timely submission of quality information required in relation to data. I also worked as a Consultant Block Coordinator with SWARG – Nutrition International, where I provided hands-on support for quality implementation of Maternal Newborn Health and Nutrition intervention at the district. My responsibilities included improving referral transport, strengthening labor room, NBCCs, NBSU, KMC room through regular supportive supervision by using NI’s developed monitoring checklist and support interventions like labor room drugs, Delayed cord clamping, EIBF, KMC in LBW and pre-term child, facilitating and supporting blocks to do time to time stock assessment and support them in timely replenishment of various medicines/logistics and consumables.
