Dr. Rajmohan Panda

Dr. Rajmohan Panda is a senior public health specialist at Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). He has been trained in public health at Emory University in the USA. His previous experiences have included work in primary health care in India, nutrition in CARE India, NCD in the American Cancer Society and work on Tobacco technical assistance consortium at Emory in Atlanta. He led the health system component of project STEPS (Strengthening of Tobacco control Efforts through innovative Partnerships and Strategies), a multi-component factorial randomization trial in tobacco control in 12 districts in India. Dr. Manu Mathur

Manu is a Dental Surgeon with a PhD in Epidemiology and Population Health from University College London and a Masters in Public Health with specialization in Advanced Epidemiology from the University of Glasgow (U.K.). He is currently working as Research Scientist and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). He is also the Technical Advisor to the President, PHFI. He has been a recipient of the prestigious Fogarty International Clinical Research Scholarship for the year 2010-11, a Wellcome Trust scholarship for his doctoral studies in the year 2009 and another Wellcome Trust Mid-Career Fellowship to undertake work on psychosocial determinants of oral health inequalities in India. Dr. Monika Arora

Dr Monika Arora is a public health scientist working in the area of preventing NCDs through health promotion and health advocacy. She is the Director of the Health Promotion division at Public Health Foundation of India. She has been conducting large scale Group Randomized Trials and has expertise in designing multi-component interventions for behaviour change in population in multiple settings. Dr. Arora is the Project Director of the Centre of Excellence in Alcohol Control (COE-AC) at Health Promotion unit of PHFI that aims to promote epidemiologic and policy research for prevention and control of alcohol misuse in India, develop and implement a strategic advocacy campaign towards introducing a comprehensive alcohol control policy at the Centre and State level in India based on the WHO global strategy to reduce harmful use of alcohol.. read more

Dr Hayden McRobbie MB, ChB, PhD

Hayden McRobbie is a medical practitioner with international experience in smoking cessation research, training, policy and implementation. Dr. Divya Persai

Dr. Divya Persai is a dental graduate with Masters in Public Health. She is working as a Research Associate at Public Health Foundation of India. Her previous experiences included work in HIV/AIDS surveillance. At PHFI, she was involved with a large scale tobacco control project which aimed to integrate tobacco cessation practices in routine practice of health care providers and strengthen the existing health system in tobacco control in two states of India. In this project she was involved in training mid-level officials from the various cadres of Indian health system on various aspects of tobacco cessation. Dr. Sandeep Mahapatra

Sandeep is a Dental Surgeon with Masters in Public Health and specialization in Epidemiology from Manipal University, India. He is currently working as Senior Research Assistant at the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). Mr. Kumar Gaurav

Mr. Gaurav is a Science graduate with a MBA (PGDHM equivalent to MBA) in Public Health Management from IIHMR University, Jaipur, India. He has more than 6 years of work experience in Public Health with major focus on Reproductive and Child Health, Adolescent health, Health System Strengthening, Public Health Nutrition, Planning and Monitoring of National Rural Health Mission at State and District level.
