Dr Yashaswini is the course co-ordinator for Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management and module co-ordinator for Epidemiology for Masters of Public Health students. She has secured 9th rank for the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences for her Doctor of Medicine in Community Medicine.
Dr Yashaswini was involved in various training programs along with Government of Karnataka in National Health programs like NVBDCP, training of ASHA workers for screening of NCDs. She has worked in field of Public Health in Covid -19 in domains of contact tracing, Fever Clinic Evaluation for Mysuru district under the Deputy Commissioner, Covid-19 data management and Vaccination. As a part of MD Dissertation thesis, she did study on prevalence of obesity among adolescent students in urban Mysuru. Her other fields of interest for research include Non-Communicable diseases, bioethics and mental health.
