Dr. Aashna Mehta
Assistant Professor
Aashna is an economist by training. She has been working with PHFI since 2013. Her research focuses on health economics and financing as well as pharmaceutical economics and policy. She has worked in the areas of impact evaluation of public policies, costing, investment case development, pharmaceutical pricing and regulation, drug utilization, pharmaceutical procurement practices and competition issues in the private medicine market among others. She has provided policy support to the Competition Commission of India and the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority, Govt. of India.
She has publisher her research in journals, reports and book chapters. She teaches health and pharmaceutical economics and policy to post-graduate students.
