A Research Fellow working with Centre for Chronic Conditions and Injuries (CCCI) on various projects including EMERALD (Emerging Mental Health Systems in Low and Middle Income Countries), PRIME (Programme for Improving Mental Health Care) and Indo-China Lancet Series. Engaged in research in areas such as Mental Health Systems, Health Management Information System, Health Surveillance, Health Financing, Suicide, Disability and Lifestyle risk factors. Completed her Masters in Health Management Planning and Policy from University of Leeds, UK after her training in Hospital Administration from National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Delhi. She has completed her Bachelors in Physiotherapy from Indraprastha University, Delhi.

Prior to PHFI, She has worked in England as a researcher in European Commission lead DEPROHEALTH project on “e-learning for tomorrow’s health care managers’ and DIFID funded Mental Health and poverty project (MHaPP). She has keen interest in Child and Adolescent health and was associated with Jawaharlal Nehru University in ICMR funded project on “Nutritional Rehabilitation Centres in Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand”
