PHE senior delegation visits PHFI

A high-level delegation from Public Health England (PHE) led by its Chief Executive Mr Duncan Selbie visited the PHFI headquarters in Gurgaon on Thursday 10th September 2015. They were joined by PHFI President Professor K. Srinath Reddy, Professor D. Prabhakaran (Director of CCDC & CCCI) and the Directors of the four active IIPH campuses (two of them, Professor G.V.S. Murthy and Dr Lipika Nanda, participated by teleconference). Discussions took place on how to start additional programmes of work under the PHE-PHFI MOU exchanged between Professor K. Srinath Reddy and PHE’s Professor S.S. Vasan on 24th February 2014. A collaboration between PHE, IIPH Gandhinagar and JIPMER Puducherry has already begun under this MOU, and a further ten areas of potential interest were identified in this meeting.
