A Post Graduate Diploma in Health Economics, Health Care Financing and Health Policy was launched in November, 2008 at IIPH – Delhi. The course is directed to increase awareness and appreciation of the need for incorporating an economics perspective to various public health issues. It aims to provide a basic understanding of the key issues in health economics and economic evaluation for informed decision making. The course is primarily aimed at mid level professional with 7-14 years of experience in health sector or related field and mid level civil service career officers either with experience or interest in health sector.
